What is RESCUE® Remedy?

RESCUE® Remedy is a blend of five individual flower essences which were carefully selected and combined by Dr Edward Bach as his Emergency Remedy in the 1930s. Since then, our famous yellow bottle has been used by millions of fans, over generations, for situations of stress.

Today, our little yellow bottle containing this original blend is shipped around the world. From original droppers and sprays, to pastilles which are particularly handy in your bag or at your desk, to RESCUE Sleep® which combines the original RESCUE blend with additional Bach™ Original Flower Remedy White Chestnut, to help relieve sleeplessness associated with recurring and worrying thoughts.

How is RESCUE® Sleep Made?

The flower essences used in RESCUE® are still made at Dr Bach's former home in Mount Vernon, Oxfordshire using methods developed by Dr Bach over 80 years ago. They are then sent to the Nelsons factory in Wimbledon, London where they are diluted and bottled according to the highest quality standards.

How can I be sure I'm buying the genuine RESCUE®?

Always look for Dr Edward Bach's unique signature, which only true Bach RESCUE products carry. This ensures that your product has been prepared and bottled according to the highest quality standards.

How much RESCUE® can I take?

Each recommended dose of a RESCUE product contains 4 drops of Bach Original Flower Remedies. Additional doses can be repeated as necessary, though be sure to read the instructions on the individual product label.

Can I take RESCUE® while pregnant or breastfeeding?

RESCUE® has no known contraindications; while pregnant or breastfeeding, you should always talk to your doctor before taking RESCUE®.

Can I give RESCUE® to animals?

Our RESCUE REMEDY® range is formulated for human use and should not be given to animals. However, RESCUE REMEDY® Pets is also available and can safely be given to animals of all shapes and sizes.

The Bach™ Connection

The Bach Original Flower Essences are a traditional medicine system developed by Dr Edward Bach in the 1930s. Dr Bach was a well respected Harley Street physician who believed that our emotional well-being has a huge impact on our overall health. By 1935 he had identified 38 negative states of mind and 38 corresponding flower essences intended to counteract them.

Each of these flower essences encapsulates a particular feeling or emotion, providing a gentle and natural solution for the consequences of our hectic lifestyles. They can be used alone or combined with one another in order to suit your individual needs.

Most of the flower essences come from a variety of wild plants, trees and bushes originally identified and sourced by Dr Bach himself, in and around Oxfordshire in the British countryside. With Olive and Vine sourced from their original locations across the Mediterranean.

Nelsons began its relationship with Dr Bach back in the 1930s. Dr Bach would personally deliver his essences to Nelsons homoeopathic pharmacy in London to be sold. In 1993, this arrangement was made official, and today Nelsons still manufacture, bottle and sell Bach Original Flower Remedies according to Dr Bach's original methods.
