A classic blend with a twist; pleasant, smooth and sweet flavoured. Rooibos combined with bergamot oil to create the perfect afternoon tea with a round and balanced citrus flavour. Naturally caffeine free.

During the 18th century the Dutch-Chinese tea trade was growing and the port of Cape Town, South Africa was an important stop along the long trade route between Europe and Asia where tea drinking also flourished. Outside the township farming, communities sprang up, however for these Dutch settlers tea was hard to come by and expensive, so in 1772 a Swedish botanist, Carl Thunberg, noted that the indigenous people were harvesting, drying and brewing a drink using the leaves of the wild rooibos plant.
