Our award-winning Purple Shampoo Bar is everything you need for toning down those brassy yellow hues in blonde, grey or highlighted hair. With a medium jasmine scent, it features ingredients that work to neutralise any yellowing and help fend off the brass. It also features natural organic cocoa butter for extra nourishment and shine.

Suitable for all hair types, this bar is for anyone looking for more natural ingredients and tough work on brassy tones. Use 1-3 times per week to fend off brassiness, alternating with one of our other shampoo bars in between if you prefer. This bar pairs very well with our Argan Oil and Jasmine Conditioner.

We recommend adding a Bamboo Drainer Dish as well to store your bar correctly and get the full life from your bar, and if you're planning to travel with your tin, we strongly recommend our Travel Tin Drainage Tray to keep your bar high and dry while on the go.

How to Store:

At Home

• Let bars dry completely between uses.
• Store on a well-draining dish so water can escape underneath.
• Keep away from direct water streams in the shower.

To keep your shampoo bar in good condition and long lasting, allow to dry in between washes. We recommend using a drainer which can let the Cooki dry thoroughly. You can purchase the perfect sustainable bamboo drainer, or use something similar.

On the Go

To keep your bar dry while travelling, use the metal drainage tray inside your Travel Tin.

Packing for Travel

• Place the tray inside your Travel Tin flat-side down.
• Sit your shampoo or conditioner bar on top of the tray.
• Close the lid securely — the tray keeps the bar slightly raised so it won't stick to the bottom.

In the Shower

• Flip the tray flat-side up inside the tin.
• This creates extra space underneath, allowing water to drain away properly.
• Your bar can dry faster and last longer.

The raised tray design improves airflow and drainage, helping prevent soggy bars and sticking 

NB: Conditioner or JUMBO Shampoo Bars may be slightly too tall for the Travel Tin to close with the tray inside. Simply store the tray separately until the bar wears down — then it will fit perfectly.

How to Use:

Step 1: Shampoo

• Wet your hair thoroughly.
• Wet your Cooki Shampoo Bar and rub it between your hands to create a light lather (or glide it directly over your scalp).
• Massage into your scalp and work the lather through to the ends.
• Rinse thoroughly.

Step 2: Condition

• After rinsing your shampoo, wet your Cooki Conditioner Bar.
• Gently glide the bar from mid-lengths to ends (a little goes a long way).
• Massage lightly to coat your hair.
• Rinse well.

Tip: A little goes a long way. Start light and build if needed.

Our bars are refillable, just buy the shampoo and conditioner refill next time for a complete zero waste hair hair care. 

One 65g Cooki Shampoo Bar can last as long as three 250g plastic bottles of shampoo. Cooki is great for your hair, and great for the environment!

About the Company

Cooki Haircare came to life from two obsessions: to reduce plastic waste in the world, and to lessen the amount of chemicals we’re all exposing ourselves to in our beauty products everyday. Cooki’s owner and co-founder Jaimee Vilela is extremely passionate about both.

After being diagnosed with Stage 4 endometriosis at 33, which affects 1 in every 7 women in Australia, Jaimee went on a mission to ‘go low tox’ and remove inflammatory chemicals from her household and beauty products. But after years of working in magazines and beauty marketing, giving up her favourite products was tough – and she wasn’t willing to use just anything. Going from chic skincare with French names and stunning yet chemical-filled scents to the non-descript eco options around was hard enough. But finding natural haircare that actually worked, and that she liked using (important!) soon became the toughest cookie to crack.

One day, Jaimee finally discovered the concept of solid haircare, known for being both plastic-free and often free from many of the chemicals, silicones and phthalates found in traditional bottled shampoo. In a strike of serendipity, soon afterwards she stumbled across a small business for sale – selling, you guessed it, shampoo bars. After trying the range, she fell in love and bought the business, creating the foundation for what is now Cooki Haircare.

So far, we’ve helped our customers save well over 500,000 plastic bottles from our oceans and landfill, plus discover that having good hair doesn’t have to mean using bad chemicals. We've also partnered with not-for-profits such as Orange Sky Laundry and a range of local charities, and we're just getting started.
