Sprouts from organically produced Lentil seeds
Lentil sprouts compliment light meals at any time of the year. The mild, slightly nutty taste gives a distinctive flavour to vegetable dishes.
Lentil sprouts are an excellent source of essential nutrients and contribute to healthy, balanced nutrition. They contain vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B6, B12, plenty of vitamins C and E, iron, manganese, sodium, niacin, phosphorus and zinc.
How to use Lentil seeds for sprouting:
Before sprouting, rinse Lentil seeds thoroughly in fresh water then soak for a minimum 12 hours, maximum 18 hours.
For best results sow seeds thinly.
Amount per tray / jar: 1.5 tablespoons of seeds
Temperature: 18 – 22°C
Water: Twice daily
Ready to eat: After approximately 2 to 3 days
Ingredients: Organic ungerminated Lentil (Lens culinaris) seeds for sprouting.
