This cartridge is highly recommended for almost any water type. It is suitable for all gravity water filter systems that take a 5.75” tall cartridge. The filter system must have a minimum hole size of 12.5mm diameter in the top tank.

The Filteroo ULTRAPURE All in 1 Ceramic Gravity Water Filter offers the hallmark advantages of a ceramic water filter candle. Experience slow drip by drip filtration, allowing the water to have the required contact time with the media to effectively mitigate particles, pathogenic bacteria, and cysts.

This cartridge boasts impressive capabilities, tested to eliminate up to 98.9%* of fluoride, with an adsorption capacity of 1,950 ppm. For instance, if your water registers 1 ppm of fluoride, the Ultrapure cartridge can efficiently filter 1250 Litres before necessitating replacement. Furthermore, Doulton® ceramic filter candles preserve naturally occurring minerals, ensuring water retains its delightful taste. Included with wing nuts and washers, this replacement ceramic water filter cartridge not only enhances taste and odour but also reduces chlorine, bacteria, heavy metals, and fluoride.

Cartridges are very easy to replace and only have to be changed over as required or every 12 months, whichever comes first. They have a recommended maximum life of 1250 litres.

Due to the filtration of particulate & sediments from the water during use, the flow of water from the filter may reduce over a period of time.

If your cartridge water flow rate slows down it is normally only because the outside of the cartridge has blocked with fine sediments. These sediments do build up and can slow the flow rate over time dependant on the volume of sediments in the water supply used to fill the top tank.

To restore the water flow to its normal level, simply get a new Skotchbrite scour pad & scrub the outside of the cartridge under a flowing tap, ensuring that the open-ended thread does not contact the water to avoid contamination. Scrub harshly as this cartridge is quite thick and can be scrubbed clean many times.
