AP1008DH has a 4-stage filtration process including a prefilter, Multicare filter, Deodorisation filter and a HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Arresting) filter proven to remove 99.9% of particles from the air. The genuine leather front cover and smooth edged finish, low centre of gravity, and automatic shut off if the cover is opened makes it child- friendly and safe for all homes.

AP-1008 is designed by IDEO , the most reputable industrial design company. AP-1008 is designed for the best coordination with your room and space. Coway's air purifier is slim and good looking and the performance is the most powerful and efficient compared to competitors' products of similar capacity. It is slim (7.6 inch depth), silent (22.5dB/BL-DC motor) and powerful (CADR: Room 275, Smoke 178, Dust 191, Pollen 200).

With its combination of slim design and powerful performance, the Coway AP-1008 series Air Purifier is loaded with features. This "smart" air purifier visually displays how clean your indoor air is. The special micro-controller is constantly checking the indoor air quality level and adjusts the colour pollution indicator lamp accordingly to ensure you're getting clean, purified air, anytime - every time. If the Coway AP-1008 series air purifier is set to 'Auto Mode', the airflow is automatically controlled according to the level of detected indoor air pollution.

High Energy Efficiency
Even though air purifiers are sensitive to power consumption, many other manufacturers omit this point. Coway air purifier is most energy-efficient product and is prepared with the certification of Energy Star. Its consumption is 3.9W (Silent mode) ~37.8W (Turbo mode).

Zero Ozone Emission: Coway air purifiers don't generate any harmful by-product such as ozone.

Children Safety System: When the front cover is open, the device stops operation automatically.

Easy & Economic Filter Replacement
Filters of AP-1008 can be very easily changed without any equipment, because the front cover is attached to its body by a magnet.

Powerful, Silent & Energy-Efficient Airflow System
To reduce noise generation & enhance CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate), Coway selected BL-DC motor and applied optimal air flow by using computerised simulation.

BL-DC motor memorises the working condition (status) before power cut off. When power is back, it runs as at the previous condition (compensation of sudden power cut off).

"BAF Seal of Approval": AP-1008 series have been awarded the BAF (British Allergy Foundation) Seal of Approval in 2008. The Seal of Approval is given to products that specifically restrict or remove allergens from the environment of allergy sufferers and can be scientifically tested with measurable results.

Intelligent Air Purifier
Coway's smart function works automatically according to the condition of the air.

Dust & Gas* Sensor: Optimal air purification is possible with constant monitoring and accurate measurement of indoor air pollution through the sensors (dust sensor, gas sensor) that check the level of dust particles and bacteria.

CDS Sensor (Light Sensor): Automatically detecting variations in ambient light intensity, the CDS Sensor switches operation to Sleep Mode when the luminous intensity is less than 1 Lux for 3 minutes. When the luminous intensity returns to more than 2 Lux for 5 minutes, operation reverts to Auto Mode. The CDS Sensor: saving energy and enhancing restful sleep.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Control System: Unattended operation is regulated by an AI control program that adjusts airflow in accordance with the level of indoor air pollution and switches to Power Saving Mode or Sleep Mode when appropriate and safe.

The airflow (3 levels + turbo) is automatically controlled according to the level of detected indoor air pollution. The air purifier shifts to Power Saving Mode when the level of air purity is high for 10 minutes. The Power Saving Mode minimises energy consumption by suspending all functions except pollution level detection. The air purifier switches to Sleep Mode when light is not detected for some time to guarantee users a quiet sleep.

Silent Mode: Everyone, especially those particularly sensitive to sound and parents of sleeping infants, can appreciate the quiet, unobtrusive operation Coway noise control technology produces.
